“We have to solve our problem…and we can’t do that acting like we’re in kindergarten.” Yes, but way too many Americans have childish mindsets and manners and are not willing to change. Therefore, they’re incapable of solving problems that require adults to be in the room. So, it begs the question—are we better off with elites in charge? Isn’t that who Musk is?
Nobility was a thing for a long time. Was it wise to dispense with it as the West has done? I don’t think so. Elites can be evil, but much more often it is the masses that we ought to be wary of.

You are Truth Warriors looking out for us. Thank you Naomi and Catherine! I would like to add that Congress has not been what I would consider honest and reputable in consideration of spending our money. With so many issues facing our Republic, I hope we can remember to see what we want to create in our future. That being said, I need to see some accountability for all of this corruption. I'd rather see deals of reduced sentencing and big financial penalties for some honesty. I'm tired of "too big to fail" and "too rich to be prosecuted". Politician's, journalists, government employees, I don't care who you are, you should be held to the same standard they hold me to. But here I go, allowing them to have reduced sentences for the truth. Stay safe and keep the pressure on them. God protect you both.
I don't like all of their pursuits any more than you do. In reading back through my comments I see some ambiguity. My concerns are directed at the administration. That Neuralink has been used to help people with disabilities (so far). I am hoping that people like Catherine and Naomi are able to keep government excesses in check.
I'm confused why you are supporting Tamiflu when many of the front line doctors say it is totally worthless, and actually has possible side effects that make it even less desirable than many of the repurposed drugs out there. I am thoroughly confused why McCullough has this in his protocol? Give me a I'm wrong but it's thoroughly confusing me, because I have a lot of respect for McCullough. And also as I said before it's great if you've got money but the kids are very expensive and I do not believe the quality of those kids versus what we buy From China is any different. For people that have families there's no way they can afford those kits.

I tried listening. Whenever talkers get into conjecture that we all know possible, I tend to drop out. I can have that conversation with friends and strangers. Why listen without the benefit of feedback to the talkers?
No thanks. At 70 I already distrust government since high school days and too often been shown good reason. The 44 and 46 administrations just compounded my wariness and converted me from a believer in balanced parties into a confirmed anti-democrat . I’m still not dedicated to republicans but I see better promise with more of them than any quantity of democrats.
The efforts to reduce government is a great beginning. We must look back to the founders who were TEMPORARILY involved in office with no intent of growing a massive conglomerate of thieves.
Thanks for your comment. I'm older than you and spent 30+ years in HR, starting when it was still Personnel. The one thing I learned quickly from "the old guys" who mentored me, was that when investigating, understand that everyone is lying to you, whether deliberately through commission or omission of information, or through presenting events putting themselves in the best light, that while factually true may not be contextually true. I had to deal with government departments. My experience was that the worker bees, with few exceptions, just wanted to do their jobs and go home. The problems stared at the managerial level, particularly where political hacks were inserted.
There is no question that there is waste and fraud in government, just as there is an any large private sector institution. It is the nature of the beast. I see Musk as dangerous, from the perspective that his e-mails asking what people "accomplished" are meaningless gibberish. First, he has no idea what people are supposed to be doing. Second, showing up for work and completing the work assigned to you is not an accomplishment. What needs to be determined first is whether the area in question is following the policies of the administration, or whether the area fits within the administrations overall policy objectives. Until that is determined, asking what "accomplishments" are, is pointless. What works for Musk in his private business world, does not automatically transfer elsewhere.
The suspicion is that there are numerous dead people (like many voters) "working" for the federal government. This request by Musk is an effort to flag and look closer at non-responders to wee if they are actually extant. Why should it be considered pernicious?
How will they reply if they are on vacation or medical leave? If there are "dead" or non-existent employees, where is their pay deposited? Someone must have provided that information for deposit, with a signature permitting it to be done. Presumably, they have home addresses and telephone contact information. If the issue was really about "extant" employees, why wouldn't you start with asking the managers for a list of whom they manage, then asking some of those managed for a list? Discrepancies would then be investigated for fraud, which, presumably, where this is headed. Do the active government IDs issued line up with payroll? There are several other ways to achieve the same end, without being a dick. Musk and his Starlink are about surveillance. He's not all sweetness and light.
