There is no additional prohibition on also holding another nationality in the Public Officers Law or the NYC Charter provisions governing mayoral eligibility. Also, federal law does not require a naturalized US citizen to renounce his previous county's citizenship in order to have all the rights and privileges of a native-born US citizen.
Also, the is no law currently on the books -- federal, state, local -- that requires political candidate to certify that they only have one-and-only-one citizenship: US citizenship.
There is proposed legislation at the federal level (for example, Dual Loyalty Disclosure Act introduced in Congress) that would require candidates to disclose any foreign citizenship. But as of now, that is not law.
