I am so, so sorry for the loss of your sweet sage Mushroom. Thank you for sharing the gift of his wise and benevolent life with us.
I’m writing this while sick with anxiety over Primo’s FIV+ brother, Secondo, who has been too ill with an upper respiratory infection to eat since last Wednesday. He has developed a secondary eye infection I was only able to administer two doses of antibiotics for before he stopped eating. He is too wild to touch and can’t be lured into a humane trap with food, and all my attempts to entice him with the usual tricks (tuna, Temptations treats, his favorite wet and dry foods) have failed.
In an email tonight to a reader who was “present” for last night’s episode as I fretted over being unable to find Secondo and fearing he had crawled into some inaccessible place to die, I wrote:
“Last night, I was wracked with anxiety because I couldn’t find Secondo; tonight, I am wracked with anxiety because he hasn’t moved from his spot in the bushes and doesn’t appear to have changed position all night, and I’m worried he’s dead 😭 The only way to find out for sure is to approach him with a flashlight, which would terrify him if he is alive, so I have to wait till morning to check on him.”
Being suspended in this Schrödinger’s cat uncertainty is a torture unto itself, which you capture painfully well in your subsequent post. I can only hope a joyous relief awaits me in the morning.

Thank you for this eye opening article. The world is closer than ever to the mark of the beast. The chilling reality this mark of the BEAST is introduced only at the midpoint of the 7 year Tribulation. By then 30% of humanity would have already been wiped out majorly through another brutally severe pandemic, wars & natural disasters. Now there is strong possibility that atleast 80% of this 30% of the dead could be men. That means 20-25% of all living men are wiped out in the 1st half of the TRIBULATION PERIOD. Imagine how easier it becomes for the Antichrist to force the mark of the beast on all mankind without any resistance whatsoever.
