Few people are willing to question. I am still seeing people who will not question covid or the vaccines, who think Trump is the most immoral person who ever lived, but will not acknowledge the traitorous actions of the Bidens and others. Naomi has put together a very thought-provoking list of circumstances which should cause us to think hard about what is happening.

Dr. Wolf,

As someone who lived in Southern California but left just before the 1993 fire broke out in Laguna Hills (and destroyed a portion of Laguna Beach), I wouldn't read too much into these fires in LA.

There seems to be a disconnect between the people who live in that state (specifically, in the southern half of that state) and, well, the rest of the world.

Prior to the 1993 fire, the local FD had been warning residents that a controlled burn was necessary, as the brush in Laguna Hills had been accumulating for far too long without a natural burn; environmentalists shut the idea down, as there was apparently an endangered species that inhabited the area in question. Plan B was to put up a reservoir up in the hills (out of sight and mind of the locals), as it would certainly be necessary without the requested burn; this was shot down as well.

When the fire finally hit (and with a vengeance), the local FD was tapping backyard pools in its search for water.

I don't know enough about dry undergrowth accumulation or emergency water requirements to argue with a fire chief about what would really be necessary to reduce the risk of fire as much as possible, but I do know that my home and my life would be far more important than whatever west coast warbler was nesting in the brush that presented a danger; should my elected officials decide that the bird was more important, it would be time for me to smile politely and quietly leave the state.

Life is the biggest IQ test of all.
