What was lacking in this piece is how New Yorkers responded to the outrageous limitation on their individual rights.
It seems that many not only complied and stayed home, but over a thousand on the first day volunteered as "emergency snow shovelers", fitting the socialist definition of good citizens demonstrating "solidarity". I bet that they don't have the first clue that they are cooperating with totalitarian schemers/scammers.

It has become a one party state ruled by the most evil people who do not care about me or my family. NYC hasn’t been amazing or iconic for a long time. It stinks like pot, full of drug addicts, violent protestors, crime and the government let the city burn during the so called peaceful “summer of love” protests in 2020. The last time the city was great was when I was a college student back in the 80’s.
We rent a place in SWFL and I love it. My daughter lives down there as well, my happy place. I don’t care anymore about the changing seasons or the pizza LOL….peace of mind is down south :)

Understood. I left the north for Florida during Covid, but I must say that I miss my real home, which is in New England.
