Remember that in this story as well, God hardened pharaoh's heart

I am gaining great insight into Gods character and have purchased a Geneva Bible to follow/study along with your sharing. I pray you do not let the trolls or negative political comments harm your desire to help others draw closer to the GOD of the Bible.

Hey Dr. Wolf, Did you find out HOW the Geneva Bible was supplanted by the King James version, after the Revolutionary War era or thereabouts??

Growin' up "Reformed" we only heard stories "distilled" (by who? I dunno--sounds like adonai...) We also heard the "Angel of Death" passed-over us. I'm DELIGHTED ta hear yer translatin' from the Hebrew (which we only learned phonetically an' promptly fergot--such wuz the not so hot Sunday skool we were gifted--not so much a gift, I liked the singing parts!). BUT never (evah!) heard the bible let alone from (frum!) the source--so very grateful fer this--I know it's a Labor of Love!

I'm listenin' while finishin' up the cookin' on our own seder dinner (we skew late, as I say ta my ma, "don't ask")--an' fer you I gotta "qvestion"...

ALWAYS at Seder we say whoever is hungry, come eat. 'til before the plandemic, we always invited GUESTS--friends too, many non-chewish who had no other special dinner plans (no, they were not starvin' an' in NYC clearly ya don't open yer door ta anybody on the street if ya wanna live ta tell the tale...) BUT we did invite friends, shared with 'em the entire seder, the readin' the food, the traditions an' I considered that fulfillin' the "let all" instruction...

THEN I hear Exodus 12 an' it sez only Jews attend the seder? Did I misunderstand? Only CIRCUMCISED too? No lady friends? An' nowhere did ya yet read (I'm just about ta listen ta this now)--that absolutely anybuddy wuz welcome. What gives here?

I found evidence online of what I thought was standard:

https://www.myjewishlearning.com/article/what-does-it-mean-to-say-all-who-are-hungry-come-and-eat/

But their explanation is purdy lame (make sure yer hungry friends'll have enuf ta eat during Passover--an' you yerself come ta table hungry?)--feh. Would love ta know more 'bout this passage an' the "real deal" as to who gits ta come ta seder (traditionally natch, we'll still invite friends as always)

Thanks muchly fer this and Happy Pesach Naomi (an' ta yer fambly too!)

my own holiday postin' -

I don’t know precisely where it is most useful to drop this comment, so if you think this is a dumb place, please forgive.

When I first started reading the Geneva Bible in 2006, part of the promotional materials for that republication of the 1599 Bible was that King James had to drive the word “tyrant” out of the scripture. As in Job 26:13-23 where it reads “the portion of a wicked man with God and the heritage of tyrants … [shall be spoiled and redistributed to the people] … every man should clap their hands at him, and hiss at him out of their place.”

Geneva Bible makes it clear, the powers that be may be the very enemies of God, and the obstacles between him and his people.

Sharing a link to an upcoming program with psychotherapist Rabbi Tirzah Firestone PhD, who combines teachings from ancient Judaic wisdom with ancient Buddhist wisdom. I don't know her personally, but she looks like a very nice sort, and she may have a lot to offer to those who would like to explore psychological healing through a deeper understanding of your ancestors, their 'wounds and wisdom'.

Exodus seems an appropriate link to a post I would personally appreciate your perspective on. A post formed under the concern of an apparent rise of antisemitism while holding awareness of the globalist agenda of anti-nationalism and death-jabs to aid eugenics bound Illuminati. An odd closed loop of Jewish victimization bears a lack of fully understanding the entire playbook of the forming of the nation of Israel and its acts of genocide.

The comments on the podcast post are enlightening, offering references to the history and complicity of egregious acts by Israel, as recorded by Jewish scholars.

Apologies if my communication is off topic to your post - this is my attempt to have an informed and trusted view of this phenomena of innocent-Jews, espoused by noted voices. One of those places where misinformation, heartily believed, begets and grows ignorance.

Thank you for your time Dr. Wolf.

Thank you Dr Naomi for creating a bridge of understanding into the Hebrew texts (and Abrahamic religions ). I live in a small rural community in New Zealand, that is polarized by the Gaza crises (and the transhuman agenda) and literally, peacemaking is much needed to resolve tensions/conflict. The cult of madness is alive and kicking. However, blessings Dr Naomi and would you consider having a "buy me a coffee" tab for those who can't regularly subscribe?

Love hearing from the Geneva bible and the Hebrew. You have a perfect voice for this. I’ve read about 20 different bibles by now, “from In The Beginning to the last Amen.” It is always a treat to read a new Bible because of the different word usage making the meaning more clear.

The guideline for interpretation I’ve been taught is that the Holy Sprit “breathes upon the water,” interpreting the Holy Word, and that scripture interprets scripture. The New Testament interprets the New Testament and the Torah. So you might feel sorry for those with only the RSV, but if one only had that translation, God would make Himself known.

Have an easy fast, Naomi.

listened to you and Tucker a few nights ago. loved it. i feel a little less crazy, to know others, have had to adjust their worldview to reflect the overwhelming surge of undeniable Evil asserting itself. to consider, that yes, my God is the Great Power of the Universe. Satan, can only harm me if i deny my God, and aquiesce to Evil's requests. if I am harmed without my consent, there will be Hell to pay. dave

I do a lot of work with AI and the original languages of the Bible. It's very knowledgeable. Here is what Gemini AI has to say about this verse. It fits perfectly with what Naomi says at the 22:00 mark.
