I live in Australia. Completely incorrect. And many of us are making an effort to choose and use cash.

Yes digital is promoted and increasing. If such facts are not correct, what other ‘untruths’ are stated in the interview. Credibility is lost.

I live in Australia and this is news to me too. Most places still take cash, but we are encouraged to use digital. I still use cash.

What is to stop the government from stealing your gold and silver?

Tariffs on imports will only make consumers pay more. New manufacturing will not help Americans because the corporations will simply import more cheap foreign labor.

America doesn't need to import cheap foreign labor. Millions upon millions of illegals have entered the country since Biden and they will replace workers in all industries and if the Dems win, the taxpayers will subsidize their employment.

You asked why the department of energy was included with this white house transfer of authority concerning Ukraine, because they have something like 500,000 tons of Lithium Oxide deposits (largest in world), probably also the real reason were involved in the war there.

Also, have to disagree with Erik on the 1930's depression. The policy that prolonged the depression was the world wide imposition of protective tarrifs. It would have the same result to day. The core issue today is excessive spending fueled by the money press. Nothing you do will have any effect longterm if you don't start to control the debt

Solution, no more military industrial complex wars, close borders and that wasted money, get rid of the surveillance deep state, and the list goes on. A return to limited government and free markets ( not tarrifs which will devolve into crony capitalism ) is the best solution.

'Money' is going digital, and cash is to be eliminated, whether we like it or not. We will soon be facing a choice - we can either play along with th government and give them full control of the digital fiat they issue to us in the form of their CBDC, or we can join the Bitcoin revolution and continue to transact freely with one another unobserved by the state.

This 'delegation of powers/Ukraine' business is intriguing. My first impression was that it might be nothing more than a ruse to prevent an incoming President Trump cutting off funding for the forever-war in Ukraine.

But I will admit I'm getting way out of my depth here.

I live in Australia and we are not cashless. In fact more and more of us only deal in cash and if shops and suppliers don’t take cash they are boycotted.

It is true that some banks won’t accept cash deposits and have removed atm’s but many many people have cash reserves on hand at all times.

In Europe the rule is: you may not pay cash for anything costing more than 1000 euros. On the basis of 2023 reports, Australia has taken that line, or doing away with all cash is in the works, like the way the US quietly took all the silver coins before the public realized it.

This is probably a source of the confusion. It's a planned deal, just begun. Here's from ABC RN: 'Australia's transition to a cashless society raises concerns about financial exclusion, privacy and safety'- www.abc.net.au/news/2023-08-23/cashless-society-financial-exclusion-safety-privacy-concerns/102706718

I was a bit confused as we do still have cash and ATMs & even some bank branches in Australia. The only shop I have ever been to that doesn’t accept cash is Nandos Chicken.

One thing I will say, if you go to the bank & want to take out say $5,000 they may ask you what it’s for, as if it’s any of their business. This wouldn’t normally happen to me as I would be lucky to have $5000 in my bank account.

Same happened to me in USA 3 weeks ago, taking out 5K, which I do periodically. Indian teller wanted to know what I was going to use this for. Have been doing this for about a year, but this was first time to get such question. I was angered by her intrusion into my personal financial business (I stretch out that cash over several months, groceries, gas, hardware store)
