Yes, in the chaos of a massacre of more than 1200 people in 20 different communities, it's likely that eyewitnesses of individual atrocities will mix up the details or confuse it with others. What Channel 13 reported was that a handful of the stories had details which proved to be wrong.
But I advise you to watch it again, because you missed a lot.
Even the Channel 13 reporter got a detail wrong, while reporting in real time, and someone else on the panel corrected him. That's how easy it is to make such mistakes in front of a camera -- let alone while under the trauma of having seen the gore for yourself.
You also missed Mickey Rosenfeld explicitly saying that people were NOT "inventing" stories, contrary to your impression.

I listened to it. She was held as a hostage and used as a human shield, both of which are war crimes (with or without additional mistreatment). The comment about "Israeli forces killing their own civilians" was her opinion in answer to the interviewer's repeated promptings - she assumed it after the fact. But thanks to those "intense battles" and all that "crossfire", she was rescued before she could be taken into Gaza.

I’m not an attorney but I think we should sue the federal government and Joe Biden for violation of the constitution and the oath of office (or something along those lines) by purposefully allowing untold numbers of people to illegally come into the United States. This is treasonous. As I’m thinking about it this is just one of numerous lawsuits that should be filed. What a criminal mess our government has become.
