I'm a veterinarian not an immunologist but I would think that the spike protein needs the virus as a vehicle to get into the cells. A protein by itself has no mechanism to do that. You guys are just speculating wildly without any information to back up the claims. I don't know if they're right or not but geez don't you need some evidence of what you're saying before you start spreading it around. This is how misinformation gets around just as the article States. Nothing wrong with asking questions but a lot of assertions are being made very confidently with zero evidence

Parts of virus — During an infection, the entire virus is produced, but the COVID-19 vaccines only introduce the nucleic acid related to one viral protein — the spike protein — so no other genes or proteins are available to produce viral particles. No one claims the shedding is the Covid-19 virus. The claim is that its either the toxic spike protein that is being produced or the nano-lipid mRNA containing particle or both. Its not known at this time. However, if the spike protein is being shed and its getting into another person how could it not trigger a toxic reaction?
