During the Bosnian War my Croatian b-i-l ,who was a Croat guerilla leader and fighter, took us to a bombed out Serbian village . Few little brick home remained occupied and whole. A sniper shot at our car from behind a wall left to one home.
we were invited to a family barbecue and my brother in law was bringing a wheelchair to a family with an adult daughter whom her father had carried around in his arms. They had no money . They lived in a small cinder block home with a dirt floor and one room divided by a blanket strung on a line within.
The grateful little family had slaughtered and roasted one of their pigs, served us their homegrown produce and home made wine and bread.
Nothing i have eaten since tasted so good. In conversation the Serbian housewife explained that even though they were the enemies of the Croatians in this war it was they who treated the families with respect, while their own did not.
She explained that this war was fomented by the UN and that their own adult children had learned in school to leave the little farm villages and make money in the big cities. She said the globalists did not want people proficient in self sufficiency but rather dependent on the government.She lamented the abandonment of the next generation and the lack of knowledge they had to truly support their own.
.........No television, no electricity just the wisdom of their parents and grandparents. that was passed down to them. They understood the disaster the manipulation that the previous Marxist government educational system created for their children ,
