It strikes me that Dr. Wolf really doesn’t understand the depth of the evil which drives the progressive movement. The outrageous ideas they drive feverishly are 180 degrees out from logic and out of this world in distance from anything even remotely godly. The forces of evil produce everything opposed to good. One thing Dr. Wolf surely does not consider regarding evil… it is never satiated; it never relents and never has enough. Don’t underestimate evil… ever!
Good, thoughtful points and great strategy ideas. Hopefully it'll find the eyes of someone on the Trump team. If not, you should just go ahead and deliver this article yourself.
Great points and counsel. A serious effort needs to be made to let these folks hear the truth as often as they’ve heard the lie. When done with kindness, it may sometimes get through. Ultimately they are all God’s children and our brothers and sisters.
I’m writing this while listening to Mark Steyn' comments on the Hegseth appointment, before the Gaetz’ appointment. IMO, these two head scratcher appointments are like, hypothetically speaking, tossing a flash bang grenade into the rooms called Def Sec and DOJ to see who runs to save their own lives and who stays to save the lives of everyone else.
A video, in today's parlance is worth a thousand comment words, forgive the commercials, but bills do need to be paid.
The left didn't take over every institution by playing nice and sucking up to their enemies. They hate us and make no bones about it. Their technique has worked far better than the conservatives' way, which is more conciliatory, as this piece recommends. The only reason the left has backslid is they went too far, too fast, with completely open borders, actively transporting illegals all over the country, trans insanity, and too high inflation. If they hadn't reached for the sky, they'd still be demonizing us and winning. He's president of every citizen and I'm sure won't have FEMA, IRS, and DOJ unfairly discriminating. But the idiots who believe he's like Hitler are beyond reaching, IMO, and will believe he's the devil regardless. They'll never see the messages Naomi talks about anyway, unless they consume non-leftist media, which they don't. They'll never watch Trump or his associates speak. I'm not for attacking them in the same disgusting ways they attack us. I'm not for silencing them, Whoopi, Joy and their ilk will have freedom of speech under Trump, unlike us under Dem control. But we need to be on the offensive, while being as nice about it as practical. Another way of looking at it, FWIW.
Dr. Wolf, I hope you won’t mind me tagging on to this substack but I find you addressing a point that I find particularly interesting and personal. Much of the Harris campaign and the Biden campaign before it really engaged in fear tactics in trying to sway the voters. Though they were not successful in turning the election in their favor, they were successful in scaring the living daylights out of way too many people. I have 2 adult daughters who are literally fearful for their and their families lives. The left and their MSM sycophants have done a real number on them. (They need to be held accountable for the impending mental health issues, but that’s a whole other discussion.)
I’m writing this hoping you or someone among your readers can offer some suggestions on how I/we can help these genuinely hurting souls. I’m thrilled the election has gone the way it has but I feel we have a responsibility to try to help those who feel we’re leaving them in a seriously precarious position. I don’t know where to begin. Thanks
I’ve gone back and started reading the comments on the original post - a lot of good stuff here. Just need to figure out how to implement some of them. Seems like there is need for a support group for people whose loved ones are struggling with this.
People really are wearing the blue bracelets. Saw one on an intelligent professional woman today (in a blue city.) I'm not sure how severly polarized people feel, but it does give me pause that they feel they must wear bracelet. Still have to hold our Trump cards close to the chest, so to speak, to avoid confrontation or I'll words.
I’m in agreement for most of your points and basically the main thrust of the article. The positive messaging and such should continue. The campaign doesn’t necessarily stop with an election victory.
Let’s give it up for Melania Trump! Grace, class and poise under fire. What pigs the Bidens were in the invasion of privacy that was the Mara-Lago raid, rifling through her personal garments. What does joe like to say?…. Good God, man! He must have a list of olfactophilia paraphilia.
Naomi, thank you for such wisdom and insight. I am the mom of two daughters who walked away from their Christian faith in college and have entered the LGBTQ world (one identifies as non-binary, presenting male, the other as bisexual). The nonbinary one, who was married [to a man] has a daughter. She texted us, saying she couldn't engage in any conversation with us during the election because we're voting for Trump. Two days after the election, she sent us this text:
"Hey mom and dad. I just wanted you to know that I've had fag yelled at me angrily as I walked down the city streets several times since yesterday. This has never happened before. I know that it's because of people who are anti-LGBTQ being emboldened towards violence with Trump's election. I just want you to know that if I die or if I'm harmed or if Autumn loses her mom, the blood is on your hands. I don't care, you need to fight for LGBTQ people to be safe that is on you."
She is obviously terrified that the things that her information bubble has been telling her about Trump supporters is true. She is a therapist, so it's not from lack of knowledge or understanding. She just drank the kool-aid. We haven't spoken with our other daughter since after the election. I figured it would be a good idea to give her some space.
While I agree that this strategy has its merits, I also know more than a few with Trump Derangement Syndrome who will see through this in a heartbeat. They will immediately and instinctively know the intent behind this strategy. They will see that it is taken from their own playbooks, no? It's like saying if we can get Hitler out there shaking hands with Jews on their way to concentration/work camps and talking about how important it is to get this employment program going, everyone will lap it up and see that Hitler isn't really such a bad guy. Far too many people are still glued to legacy media which is probably only going to step up their propaganda war against Trump. I've seen some drastic changes in friends I've known for over 40 years who firmly believe that Trump is going to be doing deals with Putin, forcing women to get back alley abortions and in no time women all over the country will be walking ten feet behind men and wearing full burkas. At first glance this seem kind of humorous, but the more I listen to these people, the more unhinged they become. It's incredibly disturbing.

10 stars. Excellent information and sharing. Next, let’s get you on the team as well. How do we connect the two of you??
Best

I'm not sure why anyone would waste their breath suggesting what the new Prez should do now. Those types don't listen to us peasants.

Your definition of "intelligent" is a lot different from mine.

Love love this.
Both brilliant and practical—not an easy combination!
