Just saw a flyer for the Southhampton Writers Conference hosted by Stonybrook. Kind of bummed me out to see writers cooperating by teaching at a conference with a vaccine and booster requirement. “We are going to check cards.” Seems pathetic. Not only do Covid vaccines not stop transmission, in several studies the vaccinated have been more likely to get Covid. I thought the idea of being a writer was not to have your head up your ass.
THE EVIL, salting the battlefield for this cov2 and a future high lethality virus, has worked to denigrate and discredit the True Protection that the 3M "quality grade" N95 and better disposable (or reusable), easily sized and fitted, respirator grade mask does provide. Especially when combined with basic eye protection (glasses and prescription or homemade anti viral eye drops) and pre-use of homemade anti viral nose, mouth and throat sprays and subsequent use of homemade anti viral eye wash, nasal flush, mouthwash and gargle and continuing preemptive use of homemade anti viral sprays and nebulization and hygiene. Not hard to do once a routine has been established.

I believe I am allergic to chemicals in the blue and white masks that we were forced to wear on planes, and to get any medical attention here in Canada - still!! I have had 'dermatitis' for over two years, only on the areas of the face that are covered by the mask, which I only wore in order to visit my grandkids and to get medical attention at the ER. There are no exceptions even now!
I particularly enjoyed the information in your book provided by Megan Mansell. Early in the 'pandemic' there was a chart circulating showing the relative size of the virus and mask pore size. Very simple and conclusive, yet ignored at great cost.
We all have some level ptsd so it can be good to regurgitate some of that trauma we experienced. Unfortunately most of us are still operating in an echo chamber which delays our getting out to expensive fresh air.
