I was wondering the same thing. I went to Dr Ealy's website and he recommends this company: https://www.earthing.com/collections/all

I still don't know what to buy, but now I know who l will buy from. Good luck.

Very interesting topic, and worth considering. I think there has been enough research done on this to give it credibility that can’t simply be dismissed as a placebo effect- zeta potential is real and is something for the skeptics who have chimed in to think more about.

I also highly recommend electro acupuncture for which there are also research studies that can be looked up if anyone wants to learn more about it.

Dr. Sinatra was an expert on EMF poisoning too. And the story from the Other Side, yep I am in fact a psychic medium, is that he was removed intentionally, just like so many other competent physicians. That means murder!

Naomi, thank you for informing your readers of the health risks from modern wireless mobile communications. The more people know about this, the more hope there is for those of us who have had to sacrifice our social lives to save our health, or vice versa.

I found out about this in 1997 after digital cell phone use began in Tokyo and lots of people became sick, me too. I warned one friend who had in fact asked me to find out what was making so many people sick. The truth was, though, she didn't really want to know if it meant not keeping up with the Joneses.

I had been about to get a cell phone. I never did.

And YES Naomi—- FLIP PHONES are still around. We use one that is a 4G by Nokia. So wonderful to have a phone.. that is JUST A PHONE!

EXCELLENT presentation! Building on information I had previously heard, but taking it further!

QUESTION: looking for a grounding mat for a laptop that isn’t so BIG.. more like 10x14” (so far most mats I see are much larger).

What about IPADS? If you use one on a stand, how do you ground that? is there a mat that will stick to the back of one?

I was surprised Dr. E said NONE of the shielding fabrics he tested work. My hand starts tingling if I hold my iPhone too long. With my emf gloves it stops. 🤷‍♀️

Expand full comment

Maybe your emf gloves have silver threads or other metal in them. The dear substack author Frances leader got a whole-body covering garment that looks like a monk's habit from a grounding company. Such a thing is not directly grounded, but it works like a micro-ground by spreading those electro-waves out. Frances felt drastically better after she put that monk's habit on.

why do we put away dishes

besides its what SWMBO wishes

they’re real handy in the dish rack

why waste the time to put them back

but hide them in some cabinets

its one of those chick-gene habits

its more efficient there’s no doubt

if we would leave the dishes out

EMF mitigation is a smart thing to do that undoubtedly has health benefits. I run a software development business from my office that involves quite a bit of equipment, and such mitigation is a must.

On the other hand, I have been working with computers for 55 years, most of that without any EMF mitigation, and I'm still here. I have far more trouble with birth defects and with pharmaceutical poisoning that occurred at the beginning of my life.

60 Hz AC magnetic fields are certainly a concern (50 Hz in some countries), but there are other emissions as well, and they have grown over the decades. Switching power supplies broadcast "dirty electricity" (EMI - electromagnetic interference). High-speed, large scale integrated circuits produce their own ragged forms of radiation. It's not just the frequency and power levels involved, but the irregular waveforms generated and radiated by digital logic.

Many people appear to be entirely clueless about the health risks of the electronic devices they use at home and work and carry about with them. They somehow feel assured that there is no risk, or they just don't think. Nothing is seen, so there is nothing there. And with the risks posed by these devices growing greater all the time, that's trouble.

My basic form of mitigation is "inverse square law", which is to say physical distancing. Move something twice as far away and you've reduced its radiation by a factor of four. I also incorporate other measures such as EMI shunting, and transmitter power reduction for Wi-Fi. Our bedrooms are also a "sleep sanctuary", with all wiring faults corrected and a remote-controlled "sleep switch" that we use to shut off power to that part of the house when sleeping.

And we finally did away with the wire beneath the floor running under my bed on its way from the electric meter to the water pipe entering the house, that had a ground current running through it that at times produced a strong AC magnetic field right up through the bed. We have outdoor ground rods now instead of a water pipe ground.

But ALL of this aside, there is another problem and it is not electromagnetic in nature. The technology is often used to "communicate" (what really goes on stretches the bounds of that word). What is communicated? Lots of things. But there is one pattern that stands out for me above all the others: things are presented and shared that make people fearful or anxious, and angry.

At the higher levels, this is entirely purposeful. Anger and anxiety are intentionally whipped up among the masses, incessantly, using computer technology. We already had this going with radio and TV, but now it's two-way "communication", with minimal delay. Look in the comment sections of so many blogs here! The anxiety and anger spread like a disease.

When I saw the subtitle of this post, "How to Keep Your Computer and Phone from Making You Anxious, Angry and Ill", the use of computers to whip up anxiety and anger were what came to my mind. Ill also, yes, partly as the result of EMF/EMI, and partly as a result of the anxiety and anger.

EMF is a slow-acting way to ruin your health. Consuming visual, audible, and written material formulated to make you anxious and angry produces its result much more quickly.

So what is this anxiety and anger all about? What are its purposes?

Regarding the inverse square law, it is helpful for some of the effects but not for others. A more important factor than field strength is "coherence," which is basically the difference between sunlight and laser light. See Panagopolous et al. (2021) for more on this. It is the very properties that facilitate data transfer that wind up causing biological havoc. This is why with every new communication technology that gets rolled out we get a new crop of electrosensitives.

We humans can do a lot to mitigate the harm to ourselves by taking various steps, but nature cannot. That is where the biggest concerns are arising (the social isolation of the seriously afflicted notwithstanding), in particular from the thousands of low-Earth-orbit satellites.

Expand full comment

Yes, I'm familiar with coherence, having learned about lasers out of curiosity when I was in high school. I would guess that most people are not and did not. I am fortunate, so far, to live far enough from the surrounding cell towers as to have minimal reception. Our cell phones are located in a corner of the kitchen where they are away from bedrooms and offices, but also have the best cell tower reception. We send and receive texts from our computers, connecting to the phones over our wired LAN when possible.

The phones, wireless access point, and sometimes another device connect locally via POE (Power Over Ethernet), so that there is one switching power supply rather than four, and minimal Wi-Fi usage. It takes a network tech to design, install, and configure all this, but I am one. It's a compromise, but it's what I can do. If I had my preferences I would not use SMS and I would turn my cell phone off when not in use -- I don't use it for voice calls at home.

There's nowhere to hide from signals coming from above, but there is a certain advantage to being old. I'm in my 70s, not in great health, and surprised that I am still alive. I've had damage from birth that doesn't typically go with long life. However much time I have left, "lifetime exposure" is less of a problem for me than it is for younger people. This, however, is not an "option" that most people can take.

Expand full comment

I'm in my late 60s, so catching up to you. We all do what we can in the face of these challenges. I think especially for the younger generation, there is a need for ensuring the right to opt out of the use of harmful technologies, and at first, it will be very hard for anyone attempting it, but the more demand there is for alternatives, the more available those will become, and the more acceptable that choice will become to others in society.

Great post. Specially: "My basic form of mitigation is "inverse square law". . ."

99% of the population are easily put into fear for lack of understanding this one simple fact. I can just see everyone here worried to death about their local mobile phone tower killing them in their sleep!

Details: the POWER of EMF radiation drops exponentially LOWER as the distance increases from the source. Long story short: you have to be REALLY close to a cell phone tower to be affected physically by it. Same goes for EMF radiations from Electric / magnetic fields coming from house wiring. Under your bed may be too close close; 20 ft away-- not so much.

Many great points here.

On the anger & anxiety.....we know by now that corporate media peddles disaster & catastrophe all day long. There’s too much rain or not enough rain. The sea is boiling. The sky is falling.

We know why they do that. If everything’s catastrophic, we need solutions - which they’ll provide. Too many cows producing too much methane? Bill Gates is making artificial meat & milk!

So we know what they’re up to & why. They’re trying to centralize ALL resources, wealth & power.

I remember the press here in France 20, 25 years - we’d hear about a good wine harvest or lovely weather at the coast; the olive trees were producing beautiful oil or the country’s restaurants were winning accolades. Life was pretty good & there was often good news!

These days we hear constant: climate catastrophe; environmental catastrophe; economic catastrophe & pandemic ‘news’. Not forgetting Ukraine-Ukraine-Ukraine.

Must be tough for young people - they must think constant bad news has always been the case, that we’ve always had ‘pandemics’ & that young people dropping dead or getting cancer has always been ´normal’.

Expand full comment

The media offer false "solutions" that distract from real ones. Those cows are burping methane that way because of the horrible ways they are treated and the terrible food they are given that they can't digest properly. The meat those cows produce is cheap and convenient. Pay attention to that, folks, and not to how that the meat is unsuitable for human consumption, or how the cows are treated, or what they are fed. But also consider these meat alternatives, that are even more unfit for human consumption than the meat itself.

Lies, lies, lies, and quite a few of the people lap them up. The problem is not entirely with the media and their controllers. There is cause and there is effect. I would say it lies more with the people that love the lies. Where does THAT come from?

Yes. I had not thought very much about potential emotional effects of these emissions, but I had been seeing how well two-way electronic communications work ever since I went online on "The Source" in 1982. There I right away found myself participating (the conferencing system was called "Participate", "Parti" for short) in a conversation with someone a thousand miles away. Wow, think of the possibilities. There was somebody else that kept using this strange looking three-character sequence, ":-)". What was that all about?

Online, in many if not most forums, every voice can be as loud as every other, a feature that disruptive people use to advantage. This quickly became apparent on Parti, depending upon who was in the conversation. Gamification (as in Substack's "like" and sorting options) can make things worse or better. It's more about addiction. Outlining (again, as in Substack) does help sometimes. Reputational schemes might be able to help, and years ago I researched ways to design them, but I haven't seen enough of them to tell.

The problem, from the beginning, was with the people, along with the limitations of the medium, and not the computers themselves. Text-only (i.e. no visual or sound or other sensory information available) is the worst, and still the most common. It was only problems with certain people, usually, but it can spread. I don't believe that any bots were joining in in 1982 (but who knows?), although something similar was present -- immature children. We see more teleconferencing now, but the problem isn't solved. It's still people.

Behind every puzzled/upset "this doesn't make sense" comment about the behaviors of the powers that (shouldn't) be can lurk a thought of "I would never do THAT". That's something worth examining. Maybe we wouldn't do THAT, but what _would_ we be willing to do?

Excellent information; thank you both for your work. I've known the EMF dangers for about eight years and shared them with people whenever possible. People, however, as I learned when sharing my early findings on the Covid HOAX, won't listen. (no letters after my name.) It's better to get advice from Rachel Madcow; they pay her millions yearly, so she must be trustworthy.

They trust what they see on TV and their doctors. In late December 2019, I was living with friends when I stumbled upon a small *meta-study from different countries. It was an undeniably powerful and convincing study on Vitamin D3. They knew I spent hours every day studying the Fauci Virus, but they wanted to avoid even looking at the charts and information.

He has COPD and didn't want to take a chance of getting the 'virus.' she is the daughter of an Md., so she had faith in Doctors. They both took 4-5 shots. They both got sick. However, he had severe heart problems and cancer within months after, I believe, the second shot. She was in bed for weeks on and off, but that didn't stop them from getting the other shots. The constant fear-mongering on MSNBC had won them over.

One night at dinner, he told me, "well I didn't die." SHM, I was stunned. His wife looked at me, knowing how crazy it was for him to say that. He's still fighting cancer and other issues but still kicking, thank God.

This is so beautiful, I'm so happy to hear that people are waking up to the dangers of emf. It's not just a raw power-level, dBm thing, it's a frequency thing. We are electromagnetic beings, in addition to being sonic, thermal, organic, spiritual and psychic beings.
