Well the already rich want to get much richer and cheap, even forced, labor is the way to do it. No surprise.

I find this process is becoming increasingly devious. Lately, I went online to look for replacements for some damaged mugs, made in the USA, and found many. Looking at the photos "made in USA" was printed on the bottom. But when I read the product description, I was informed that these items, complete with "made in USA" were "licensed reproductions" and made in China. This leads me to believe that plenty of other items are masquerading as American made with the blessing of the "regulators".

This process also takes placed under the "made in USA with globally sourced ingredients", "designed in USA", "packaged in USA", etc.

Why on earth would we expect that the US oligarchy wouldn't sell us out for an extra few pennies per unit?

"...from our existential adversaries, the Chinese Communist Party."

They wouldn't be existential enemies had the U.S. Deep State Controllers acted like actual human beings concerned with the fate of humanity.

NAFTA was a huge mistake for the US. My father, God rest his soul, said that at the time it was implemented. You are so right that this is a major problem that I think our new HHS secretary must deal with. I remember that Trump was able to coerce manufacturing companies to turn on a dime during the COVID crisis to begin making ventilators. I don’t see why that can’t happen with the production of drugs. Since it is a homeland security problem and affects our military as well as the civilian population, it should have high priority.

Very early in the COVID days, Dr Victory had a daily stint on the John Phillips show in KABC, Los Angeles. I remember a couple of things she said. 1. That all the homes for the elderly should be shut down, and that public transport should be shut down. Both prophetic. But most of all, I remember her saying that given her extensive experience in dealing with viruses, she had looked at COVID 19 under a microscope and it didn’t resemble anything in nature that she’d ever seen, and she concluded it had been created in a lab.

Sorry but Dr Victory, Dr McCullough and “The Wellness Company” are just Big Pharma purveyors. Now they are taking their cue as the Military/Industrial/Big Pharma cartel pivots from “Russia is our existential threat” to “China is all things Evil”. The drugs The Wellness Company peddles can be helpful but are toxic and just the usual adverse effect laden pharmaceuticals with multiple side effects and warnings and shouldnt be self prescribed or administered. When I saw them selling Augmentin, a devastating “antibiotic” which decimates the microbiome of the digestive tract I knew they something was wrong! As a Registered Pharmacist of nearly 60 years whose been practicing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for 36 years, I can tell you there is a WHOLE WORLD of Healing out here WITHOUT oil produced artificial drugs. China is no less ethical than we are but the Trump Admin is laden with Sinophobes and Chinese traditional medicine and acupuncture would REVOLUTIONIZE our system!

So the real question is- does wellness company use Chinese made drugs??

Yah. So really the question is does wellness company buy the drugs from China?

I found it interesting that first "they" induced great fear in the population about Covid and lo and behold, suddenly the main medications to curb anxiety attacs, lorazepam and other benzodiazepines weren't available any more... and now quite a few of antidepressents (fluoxetine e.g.) aren't available as well... in the phrama land of Novartis ecc. Switzerland... hmmm!

India is good in pharma production! In 2021 I ordered Ivermectin tbl 12mg via Vision pharma from Bangalore India, and it came in perfect condition and on it was actually printed a usa pharma company (forgot the name) for whom India produces these tbls. unfortunately my second order was confiscated by Swiss authorities and i am still in the headache of a legal fight with the health authorities as they then added a claim that I am suspected to suffer from a covid delusion and therefore could have been damaging my patients ( I am a psychiatrist), so should be assessed by a forensic psychiatrist on my own cost for 11000 USD or maybe lose my licence... hope in the end I will win...

Why isn’t India the obvious alternative to China. Better yet, legalize all natural and alternative treatments and practitioners which are outlawed in many states.

Matthew Crawford who studied the DmED data deeply said that it does not show what I heard here. We should have a central debate source where we can show people the various arguments and the counter argument so regular people have access to info toevaluate the different claims.

There are actually two separate issues here and, as usual, they are both best examined via the old maxim "follow the money"

The manufacturing of pharmaceutical "actives" (the compound which has the therapeutic effect before being mixed with excipients to make up a tablet or other dosage forms) went offshore LONG before offshoring became a thing. And the main reason is : TAX. Most of the money for Big Pharma is in the actives. It might, as an example, cost $1K per Kilo to produce active ingredient X. This gets sold affiliates at, say, $100K per Kilo (this is known as "transfer pricing") which leaves a net profit of $99K per Kilo. This also reduces profits and so taxes paid in other countries where the higher cost of actives reduces margins for the locally-formulated dosage forms (tablets, capsules creams etc). So Big Pharma manufactures the actives always in a tax haven country or jurisdiction (Puerto Rico was very popular until it shot itself in the foot, Singapore, Ireland and some other European countries like Belgium, where a tax strategy known as the "Double Dutch" or the "Dutch Sandwich" can be employed) where these profits can be parked so delaying (at best) US taxes.

The above only applies to newer on-patent actives and it explains why this type of manufacturing will never come back onshore.

Older, off-patent manufacturing can be done anywhere and there is no money in it for Big Pharma generally speaking. So it tends to revert to the lowest-cost centers, such as China, where because of this, volumes are enormous, so making it even cheaper.

If USG wants to solve these problems, the answer to the first is to eliminate Corporate taxes which, in any event, amount to double taxation. The answer to the second is - if seen as a national security issue - USG should itself manufacture "essential drugs" or provide subsidies for the private sector to do so.

I don't know how Puerto Rico shot themselves in the foot. I do know that Big Pharma companies moved on to the lower cost producers to maximize profit. Ala..India and China., The Zantac crisis that was under reported is a good example. FDA oversight is poor at best. All you have to do is read the Inspection reports on the India manufacturers to learn how poorly they follow GMP's. Trump wanted Kodak to become a producer. You are probably right that Kodak and any domestic producer should be tax exempt. Need a FDA that is not captive to the industry they are monitoring. Generics should be quality and produced in the USA. Hillary over ruled the FDA and allow an Indian source to continue to ship defective generics into the USA. Money talks!

China might not be your friend, however, multinational corporations, trillion dollar asset management firms, and billionaire techno/ fascists "love China" and are designing ways to incrementally establish China's technocratic surveillance system in the West.

Yep. American companies, like Thermo Fisher Scientific, have helped created the surveillance techniques, debuted them in China, and brought them here.

There needs to be more balanced coverage by US commentators about China. Hardly ever any acknowledgment in Western media that China did not approve mRNAs during Covid, made repurposed therapeutics available to the public and also did not enforce vaccine mandates. They probably handled the “pandemic” from a human rights + civil liberties perspective than most Western democracies!

What a wonderful interview on a subject that I am reminded of every time I pick up a medication refill. The quality of each medication is poorer in the last few years with softer, crumbling pills and deformed capsules . We are so vulnerable in Canada too .Of course it is part of the plan and to reduce our military in our homelands and overseas .

I kinda wish that female interviewers with long hair would stop constantly touching it every few minutes-it is beautiful hair but why not use a clip or something ? Sorry to be picky but it is not very professional .!

I have commented more than once on this. In my opinion, Naomi diminishes her professional impact considerably by NOT having figured out how to manager her hair. I don't understand why she enjoys messing with her hair all the time.
